SAT and ACT Procedure

New SAT and ACT Procedure

A Photo is Required for Test Registration

Starting this school year, students who want to take the SAT or the ACT test will be required to upload a recognizable photo of themselves to complete the registra-tion process. The photo will be printed on the student’s SAT or ACT ticket, which is required for admission on test day, and on the roster that testing staff use to check students in. This change is being made to increase test security measures and to ensure a level and fair playing field for all students who take the college en-trance exams. Photos may be submitted electronically by uploading a picture from your phone or computer. A photo may also be sent through the mail by attaching a photo to the paper registration form.

Please be advised photos must meet the following criteria:

· Be properly focused; not grainy

· Be a full-face photo, directly facing the camera

· Be clear, no shadows or bright spots

· Represent how you look currently, not outdated, there should be no doubt about your identity

· Be a photo of only you
